Reaching a milestone of 100 performances of Vástádus eana – The Answer is Land would not have been possible without our many collaborators and we would like to express our deepest thanks to all of you! Giitosat buohkaide!

Every venue that has welcomed us; their employees, the collaborating festivals, the tech team, audience members and press – we are so thankful for all the warmth, love and understanding!

Creating performing art requires trust, space, and financial support from collaborators. We would like to pay our gratitude to The Arctic Arts Festival, Norrlandsoperan and Tanz im August for financial support and willingness to present Vástádus eana – The Answer is Land even before our premiere!

Collaborating venues has given us space, personnel and equipment; Hålogaland Teater and The Sámi National Theatre Beaivváš.

Our work with Nordberg movement to create an international strategy for the performance has created a solid ground for us. Siri Børs-Lind was our kick off producer building our business strategy and foundation. Thomas Schaupp was the dramaturge and guided us in applications.

The touring networks of Norway and Sweden, Dansenett Norge and Dansnät Sverige has allowed us to reach audiences across the countries

Davvi – center for performing arts, believed in Elle Sofe Sara as a choreographer since the very beginning. Creating the performance was made possible by producers support and residency over a two-year period. Working locally in Sápmi is vital but challenging, and having a solid competence center for performing arts that supported and guided us through our most challenging parts of production was priceless.

Creating, developing, managing and touring is costly and our supporters are many and make all of this happen;

Norsk kulturråd, Innovasjon Norge, Ovddos, Daiddafoanda, Finnmark fylkeskommune, Sámediggi, Nordisk kulturkontakt, Fond for Lyd og Bilde, Sámirađđi, Spenn, Pahn, Bergesensstiftelsen, Norsk- Finsk kulturfond, Scenekunstbruket

Building a strong business, strategies and visuals has been part of our developing of Elle Sofe Company. This work has been done in close collaboration with House of Sápmi, Johtti productions and TANK Design.

Nothing without the artists behind the scenes! Frode Fjellheim composed and arranged the music. Øystein Heitmann created the light design, Elin Melberg made the scenography installation, Alexandra Wingate has co-choreographed and been rehearsal director, Ramona Salo worked on the first set of costumes. Line Maher designed the costumes in use from 2024

During pre-production we were working with Maya Mi Samuelsen and Katarina Barruk. DansIt in Trondheim gave us space to welcome artists for our two days audition.
